Odoo Implementation Team Lead

Job Summary:

The Odoo Implementation Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Odoo ERP implementation projects. This role includes managing a team of consultants and developers, leading client engagements, ensuring project timelines are met, and guaranteeing high-quality deliverables. The Team Lead acts as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Management

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end Odoo implementation projects, including planning, scoping, execution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, adapting to changes as necessary.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.

Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Odoo developers, functional consultants, and support staff.
  • Allocate tasks and resources effectively to optimize team productivity and ensure quality outputs.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to team members.

Client Engagement

  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to understand business needs and processes.
  • Translate client requirements into functional specifications and workflows.
  • Deliver demonstrations, training sessions, and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.

Technical Implementation

  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Odoo modules.
  • Coordinate data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, and import.
  • Test and validate system functionality to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on the latest Odoo features, modules, and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the product development team based on client needs.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Odoo implementation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Odoo modules, configurations, and customizations.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, including accounting, sales, inventory, HR, and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript) and database management (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with API integration and third-party tools.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Odoo certification or equivalent experience with enterprise-level Odoo implementations.
  • Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific workflows and compliance requirements.

Senior External Auditor

 The Senior has the operational responsibility to provide audit engagement team services in accordance with international standards on auditing that are endorsed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a focus on audit quality and professional skepticism. 

• Financial statements preparation in accordance with international financial reporting standards for small and medium entities that are endorsed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other standards and pronouncements that are issued by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants. 

• Demonstrate a strong tone and culture supporting audit quality through a commitment to maintain objectivity, professional skepticism, ethics and integrity. 

• Provide audit operational support on engagements with the focus on the preparation delivery, reporting and evaluation of the results of the audit engagement in response to the needs of stakeholders and external regulators.

Must to have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  •  Minimum of 4 to 5 years of work experience in External Audit Services
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing Standards, principles, practices, and techniques
  • Professional Arabic/English language Oral and Writing 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple engagements to meet deadlines 
  • Team management and supervision abilities
  • Proficiency in using auditing software and tools 
  • In-depth IFRS knowledge
  •  Financial statements and it's disclosure  preparation 

Nice to have :

  • Experience with the KSA companies' law & zakat regulations 
  • Previous Big 4 exposure would be a definite advantage
