Job Summary:
The Odoo Implementation Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Odoo ERP implementation projects. This role includes managing a team of consultants and developers, leading client engagements, ensuring project timelines are met, and guaranteeing high-quality deliverables. The Team Lead acts as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage the end-to-end Odoo implementation projects, including planning, scoping, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, adapting to changes as necessary.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of Odoo developers, functional consultants, and support staff.
- Allocate tasks and resources effectively to optimize team productivity and ensure quality outputs.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to team members.
Client Engagement
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to understand business needs and processes.
- Translate client requirements into functional specifications and workflows.
- Deliver demonstrations, training sessions, and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
Technical Implementation
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Odoo modules.
- Coordinate data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, and import.
- Test and validate system functionality to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on the latest Odoo features, modules, and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the product development team based on client needs.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Odoo implementation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Odoo modules, configurations, and customizations.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, including accounting, sales, inventory, HR, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript) and database management (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with API integration and third-party tools.
